Baby 6months crying non stop?

hi my little boy is nearly 6 months and for 4 days has been screaming nothing will pacify him baring in mind he has gone from being the best baby (neva crying ) to one that constantly cries and sleeps only 20mins at a time this goes on all through the night he wont feed and wont take juice he already has 2 teeth so i no its not that teething didnt bother him. i took him to the doctors they said he had ear infection and sore throat but it just seems like there is something else do you think he could just be crying over his throat also his tempreture soars to 38.c he has calpol and it goes down then back up again after few hours any help pleaseeeeeeeeeeee
