What is the cost of raising a calf?

At first it is going to seem that you are spending alot of money of the animal, but in the end it will be worth it! THey really dont need to much, but you gotta feed them hay and grain! During the summer it is a little cheaper, because they can be out in the pasture more! Your dad has the right idea to raise a calf, it will be cheaper if you think bout it. Just think your parents dont have to buy meat from the grocery store, they can have all kinds of different styles of meats made from it too. We(my parents)raise beef along with our dairy cows, we sell the meat and also keep some for herself! It also depends on how old the calf is, if it younger you gotta becareful with problems.
