Should my tattoo I be fine if I take a bath?

It is about two weeks old. From what I can tell it's completely healed, there is no more scabbing or peeling and if I run my hand over it, it feels completely smooth just like my skin. I just wanted to make sure from people who have more experience with tattoos (This is only my second) if, once it's pretty much done healing, it's okay to submerge it in water, or is there a certain time period that everyone has to wait?
