If you catch someone molesting your child, what are the odds that they will get convicted of pedophilia?

Three years ago, I became very ill with a disease and was bedridden. My grandparents had to take care of me and my 1yo daughter. I sometimes slept for 2-3 days in a row without waking up. One day, my bedroom door at my grandparents house was cracked open and I heard my 1yo yell "mama" twice. I could tell something was wrong by the sound of her voice. I was half asleep, but managed to run into their living room where she was at. I found my daughter and my grandpa in the living room alone. He had her faced away from him as he was squatted down behind her as his left hand was deep down the back of her jeans. I could see his hand and arm moving up and down and he used his other hand to prop himself up on the floor. He is hard of hearing, so he didn't notice me standing there, staring at them, confused. Once he noticed me, a few seconds later, he quickly jerked his hand out from the back of her jeans and then laughed and without me asking for an explanation, he said he was fixing her diaper. I grabbed her and took her into the bedroom and when I removed her diaper, I saw blood and *** on the surface of her diaper. My grandma came in and asked what was wrong and I explained to her what had happened. I was so sick with my disease and couldn't hardly stand up, so I told my grandma to watch my daughter and don't leave her alone with my grandpa. She agreed. He groomed me so well, that I knew something wasn't right, but absolutely couldn't believe he would do such a thing. Every time my grandpa would do something odd, my grandma would say "that's just grandpa", so after hearing this my whole life, I started telling myself this same thing. I didn't tell anyone what had happened or what I saw besides my grandma. Several months later, my sister, who had been going to a therapist for the last two years at that time, came to me and said she started remembering my grandpa molesting her when she was younger. Once she started remembering this, she remembered more and more. At that point, I still wasn't sure if she was remembering correctly, like I said, he was smart and groomed us. Once I started feeling better, I started watching him and he would wait until I was busy helping my grandma in the kitchen and then lure my daughter into another room. He would go into the other room and use the doorway to play peek-a-boo and if that didn't work, he used a ball or a toy. I started to remember stuff as well from my childhood and thing is that he would start out by tickling me. To make a long story short, as soon as I realized my grandpa was indeed a pedophile, I took my daughter and we left. I confronted him later on and he denied it, but also hung himself by his words. He would always talk about how much he despised pedophiles when they would show them on the News, yet when I confronted him about being one, he asked me what a pedophile was. I explained its a child molester and he asked what a child molester was. He obviously knew what a child molester/pedophile was, because he voluntarily went to the courthouse to get my sister a offender registry list. I believe he got that list, to find other pedophiles in the area. I want to turn him into the police, but I don't know if they will do anything. I recently asked my grandma if she remembered my daughter's diaper having blood and *** in it and she does remember it, so i wasn't dreaming. Also, when I was 19yo, I caught my grandpa looking at photos of children. When he saw me behind him as he was viewing the photos, he laughed and put them back in the shoebox and stuck them behind the huge furnace in their furnace room. I wanted to see exactly what he was looking at, so I watched him closely and when he went into the bathroom, I ran into where he hid the shoebox of pictures, but the pictures were gone. When he came out of the bathroom awhile later, my grandma told him "they're in the garage!". I think she has been covering for him and known about him this whole time.I remember other things, but I don't really want to get into it. So basically, my grandma is angry at my sister and me for figuring out their sick secret and is talking bad about us to the whole family. My family is mad at us, because we are giving our family a bad name and they don't believe us. Even though they know I am a good person and would never accuse anyone of something so serious unless I am 100% certain that it's true. Should I go to the police? My inheritance is at stake here and it's about $18 million dollars divided three ways. They have money and money means power.
