If you took a pregnancy test at 6 months pregnancy, what would happen?

if you was actually pregnant and took a urine test would the result be positive or negative...sounds silly, just that some pregnancy tests say, detection of early pregnancy?? But they all just test for the hormone present right?, so i figure it will work no matter what. Anyone actually know, just to confim it. thanks x
