Is Scion tc's lowering springs worth the price?

I'm looking at a Scion tc right now, and I'm unsure whether I would want to buy the TRD Lowering springs or not. The one inch difference doesn't seem to justify almost $1000? Is it even noticiable between one without the springs and one with them? I don't really care for the improved handling, but rather are buying them to enhance the looks of my car.
