My Hwy1 stratocaster is haunted?

I acquired the Strat 6 mos ago new in a trade for a Martin D18 I wasn't using.The first 5mos were excellent no worries.As soon as I got it home I strung some DR10's on it and set it up to compensate for the factory nines.Six months later the D is buzzing like mad and a week later the top E this one only when played open.the neck is straight.I slowly raised the two at the bridge as high as I could same buzz.I gave a turn or two on the tremolo springs and it stopped the fret buzz on the D.I played for an hour and put it down to grab a coke came back and bam! right back where I started from.So I set it up again and it played okay the open top E still buzzing.I was disgusted and put it in it's case,picked it up the next day and it played perfectly....for about 20 mins then the phantom buzzards came right back.I take good care of my guitars do you think I need a new nut! already? this guitar is relatively new,warped neck? .I'm chasing my tail here.Maybe an exorcism is in order,or maybe I should pull a Hendrix,any one have any lighter fluid.I am not impressed with this guitar.Any help would be greatly appreciated
