What do I do with a boyfriend who has ual hang ups due to an overbearning mother during childhood?

I say get as far away from this guy as possible. Any man who's' mother has left a bad taste of women in his mind is always going to treat you as he does and yes Norman Bates is not too far off. Unless this guy has successfully undergone intense therapy for his problem he will always pose as a menace towards women. Are you a psychologist ? Are you willing to spend the rest of your life being abused or in fear of your life? Worse yet can you live without ? You will never be able to help him leave that up to the professionals.
