Will I need Police Clearance from Saudi Arabia if I were to work in Australia?

I've been working as a registered nurse in Saudi Arabia for a year now and will be coming home soon. I have my NOC or no objection certificate as well as certificate of employment. Now my sister who's based in Australia said that I ought to get police clearance from the local police station here in K.S.A. She has plans to make me apply as skilled immigrant in Australia and she said I might need that. Now my question is, do I really need police clearance from Saudi Arabia if I were to work in Australia? Some useful advice please? Thanks!
