Should i buy a Vintage Sg copy or a Epiphone les paul special 2?

I'm on a budget and have been playing the guitar for about 4 months. I currently have a second hand Encore strat guitar but it's rubbish so I'm going to buy a new guitar. I play blues, and hard rock and i need to know whether i would be better off with an Epiphone Les Paul special 2 or a Vintage SG copy.
